Top: On May 12th 1980 the Monday market was temporarily relocated from the Town Hall Square to the car park on Ivegate.
To the left is the Crown Inn.
This is possibly when cobbles were being reset on Town Hall Square.

Middle: Yeadon Monday market being held on the Ivegate car park.
On the left is Devonshire House, the front of the premises on Ivegate operates as Rivoli Pizza.
Looking across Town Hall Square Yeadon Library can be seen, then the Town Hall, the next building houses a small cafe and amusement arcade. The two lower buildings on the right have variously been occupied by a bookmakers, a Building Society and a travel company.

Bottom: Shoppers browse the market stalls which had been erected on the Ivegate car park.
This was a temporary measure to relocate the market from the Town Hall Square.
