May 12th 1980 the Monday market was temporarily relocated from the Town Hall
Square to the car park on Ivegate.
To the left is the Crown Inn.
This is possibly when
cobbles were being reset on Town Hall Square.

building houses a small cafe and amusement arcade. The two lower buildings on
the right have variously been occupied by a bookmakers, a Building Society and a
