This was St Johns Church Hall, it was demolished in 1983 and the site used for housing.
The old church hall, now replaced by a modern hall.

In the 1950s and 60s the basement was the home of the 10th Airedale cubs and scouts.

The doors up the steps on the right was the entrance to St John’s Church Hall & was used as a classroom & gym by Rawdon Littlemoor School in the late 1950s whilst the new Benton Park School was being built. The teacher here Monday to Friday was Mr Simpson who drilled the 3 R’s & sport. One afternoon a week the boys would go to a converted prefab house on the Westfield estate for woodwork lessons whilst the girls did needlework.
The door on the left led to the basement where the 10th Airedale Cups & Scouts met every Tuesday & Friday nights.
