The money raised from the sale of the building and land was given towards the building of the new Guiseley Methodist Church on Oxford Road.

Middle: Interior of the chapel, looking back to the entrance over rows of pitch pine pews.
The chapel seated 400, there was also a large adjoining schoolroom.

Bottom: Centre window above the door, it is dedicated to Gunner Caleb Peate Hobson who was killed at Etaples in northern France in May 1918.
With good rail connections the town was a principal transit camp, wounded men were transported to hospitals there.
The hospitals were frequently bombed and machine gunned from the air, in May 1918 one ward was devastated by a direct hit, 6 other wards were ruined and 3 more severely damaged.
Many lives were lost including soldiers and medical staff.
The Etaples Military Cemetery has 11,658 British and Allied soldiers buried there.
