Upper Middle: Parked outside the Liberal Club is a steam roller and wagon which belonged to D Wood and Co. Ltd. Road Contractors of Yeadon.

Lower Middle: Fairground attractions on Town Hall Square.

Bottom: Crowds line the High Street to watch the parade, an unusual attraction is the goat.


The steam roller was built by John Fowler and Company in Leeds in 1921..His works were on Cancel Street Hunslet.
It was a Class DN No 15589 and registration No U-8709.It had a single cylinder engine.The steam roller was named Hilda.
