Helen Milner Yes, Margaret Hardisty. She was a very good friend of my grandparents. The man on the right is my grandad, Roy Jones. They all lived in Rawdon and went to Cragg Baptist, so I agree it could be there. I'll ask my mum at the weekend if she knows anything about the event. Claire Summerley
Christina Farrar It is Margaret Hardisty it could be at Rawdon cragg Baptist Church in the hall .

Anne Lawrence The lady in photo is the late Margaret hardisty.

I am sure that the upper photograph is nothing to do with Rawdon Cragg Baptist as I was a member there and do not know any of the people.
The second photograph certainly is at the Cragg "Sale of Work" which was held each autumn. Those in the photo are (l to r) G Bernard Wood (Yorkshire historian and author of many books about Yorkshire who lived in Micklefield Lane), Stanley Meredith (a member at Benton Congregational church before the churches combined to become Trinity church), James 'Jimmy' Winn (for many years treasurer at the Cragg who lived on Rufford), Alfred Waite (plumber at Ernest Waite and Son in Little London, Margaret Hardisty (my mum) and Roy Jones who lived at the top of George Street).
