Amazing memories - I was the drummer with the Guiseley Brass Band quartet that played 'Over the Waves' on stage as the curtain went up on one of the acts. I was 16 years old and very upset at the Tyrolean costume I had to endure.
Besides Guiseley Town Hall it was presented for staff and patients at Menston Hospital The Band masters son, Roy Stevenson was on cornet and on trombone was Mr Baker and one other I forget.Wonder if any one can tell me.
