An empty shop which had been a branch of
Clinton's Cards, on the left is Specsavers Opticians, beyond that and not in
view is Morrisons supermarket. Guiseley Job Centre is situated above the shops
seen here, this block of property is addressed as Alva House.
The original Alva House was built by
James Waddington in memory of his home town Alva in central Scotland, he built
Cassfield Mills which was on the site before retail redevelopment.
