I have been directed to you by a friend who receives your emails. I am
from Aireborough, Yeadon actually, and now living in Warwickshire. I am in the
aviation business involved particularly with older aircraft and museum flying
and static exhibits. I know of an Avro Anson aircraft built at Yeadon which
could be available which I think ought to be saved for posterity, and as my
mother worked at the Avro during the war, possibly having a hand in the
building of this particular one, it would be great to see it preserved at
Yeadon. Do you know of anyone or any organisation that would be interested?
Could it be on display at Leeds/Bradford Airport or at the old Avro factory?
I thought I would start with you to see if you have any ideas.
