June 1980: A display by the then Aireborough & Horsforth Museum Society, renamed AHS.

It was to celebrate the Centenary of Yeadon Town Hall, a Victorian parlour was recreated,  photos and artefacts were displayed.

Burton Abbey is in Staffordshire, in 1003 it was founded as a Benedictine monastery.

2001/2: A floral arrangement in a boat outside the Ship Inn, a coffee stop on the way to a stay in Melrose.

Undated: The Vicar's Tower, Corbridge, this is a 3 storey pele tower, built as a defence against raiders from the Scottish Border country.

It was once used as the vicarage for the adjacent St Andrews Church until the 1600s, it is now converted into a venue for weddings and community functions etc.

Undated: This is Traquair House located 7 miles from Peebles, it is said to be the oldest continually inhabited house in Scotland.

Undated: A visit to Harmony House & Gardens near Melrose, members of the society are standing in a swathe of Daffodils and tulips.

Undated: Members went to Bakewell in Derbyshire, this is the original Bakewell Pudding shop.

After 1997: This visit was to Scotland, 2 of the photos show members enjoying an outdoor lunch. W476 shows the group waiting to go on board the Royal Yacht Britannia.

The ship was built at John Brown's shipyard on Clydeside 1952-54, after serving the Royal family it was decommissioned in December 1997 and given a permanent berth at the Ocean Terminal, Leith, Edinburgh.

It is administered as a charity and is a major tourist attraction and event venue.
