2001: On a visit to Burton Abbey

2000: A visit to the former village of Bardon in Leicestershire near Coalville.

The village was demolished to allow the expansion of a quarry, Bardon Hall, the church and chapel still remain.

Undated: A carved Medieval stone seen at Corbridge in Northumberland.

Corbridge is the location of one of the Roman forts to be found on Hadrian's Wall.

1968: This group of society members were visiting Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire.

2000: Corbridge Church with a floral arch round the entrance door.

Undated: View of the "Devil's Arrows", a group of 3 standing stones located near Borougbridge. A legend tells of the devil throwing the stones towards the neighbouring town of Aldborough but they fell short.
