2015: The Woolpack Inn also known as Martha's Alehouse has now closed (June 2015), the interior is being stripped out prior to the building being converted into dwellings.

June 2015: The Woolpack was latterly known as Martha's Ale House, it is no longer a public house (January 2016).

These murals on the walls depicting a rural scene were discovered when the property was sold.

My Maternal Grandparents lived in a house right opposite the Woolpack in Well lane so these pictures bring back some very poignant memories of my childhood visits in the 1930's when my brother and i used to go down and play at the wells whilst my mother would be making tea
