This building was originally a Chapel of Rest, for a short time it was converted into an Italian coffee shop, now business of Pure Basement Systems (September 2016).

April 2016: Bathroom and kitchen showrooms, the building was erected as Guiseley Picture Palace in 1913 by Mr Runnyman who also played the piano and created sound effects for the silent films.

The land had previously been used as a fairground, before the cinema was built picture shows were held in the Wesleyan Methodist Chapel off Town Street.

April 2016: To the left is Oxford Road, the business with the red signage is Belvoir rental agency which opened here in 2016, at the corner with Otley Road is a branch of the Halifax Building Society then Uni X Spa.

A field behind the new Aldi store at White Cross, said to be a proposed site for new housing. Houses in the background are on Moorland Crescent, the clock tower of the former High Royds hospital is on the skyline.
