Carnival parade on Otley Road which reaches back to Oxford Road, crowds are watching the floats and majorettes pass by.

1968: A band on Otley Road passing the end of Park Road, to the left houses have been demolished leaving cleared ground.

At the left is the Primitive Methodist Chapel and schoolroom.

1968: Tetley's brewery dray horses in the procession, once a popular part of carnival and shows, sadly both the brewery and the magnificent shire horses are now gone.
